Zines

This collection of zines was created between 2020 and 2021, a period when I was craving an outlet for creative expression and searching for ways to stay grounded amid everything happening in the world. Zines felt like the perfect outlet; small, handmade publications that sit somewhere between a sketchbook and a story. They were a space for personal experiences, and narratives through poetry, collage, sketches, and reflections. Within these zines, anything goes, and nothing needs to be polished.

During that time, each zine became a snapshot of what I was feeling or experiencing: wrestling with imposter syndrome, documenting the chaos and charm of puppy‑sitting my friend’s “alligator” of a dog, fantasizing about redecorating my space, and staying connected with friends the only way we could—through the mail. These pieces are messy, honest, snapshots of time, created simply for the joy of making and the comfort of having a creative place to land.
